Erasmus For Young Entrepreneurs

In Germany, the EU programme is still little known Ali Yildirim is Diplom-Kaufmann and the founder of the online learning platform of CoboCards. From October 2011 to April 2012, he took part in the Erasmus programme for young entrepreneurs. He portrays his experiences on this EU project on his blog “Online founder”. In may, the young entrepreneur decides to support measures to search. He finds the program “Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs”. To date the term ‘Erasmus’ only in connection with students is a him. He researched further. Launched by the European Commission and funded exchange programme aims to connect young entrepreneurs with experienced entrepreneurs.

Founder to learn in a foreign stay of up to six months by experienced host companies and advance their idea. Ali Yildirim, 2009 together with two partners, founded the platform of CoboCards. Through participation in this program, he wanted to expand in particular his knowledge of online marketing. He applied for in May 2011 for a Participation. The prerequisite was an existing business plan, enough financial reserves and a high level of motivation.

After two months, I accepted his application, and unlocked his access to the company database. Mr Yildirim wrote a dozen companies from all over Europe. Four of them responded directly. Mr Yildirim was finally decided for a collaboration with Spanish software company AMJ Telecom. His stay was supported with 830 euros per month from the EU. In the six months, Mr Yildirim collaborated on own projects as well as projects of the guest company. Mr Yildirim returned with a good feeling. He considers the program a meaningful thing and recommend it other founders in his blog.
